Criteria for PPL

  • You must be at least 17 years old
  • Should be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Have a current medical certificate
  • Pass practical test and knowledge test
  • Should have an aeronautical experience like 40 hours airplane flight time
  • 20 hours instructional flight with an authorized flight instructor (CFI)
  • 3 hours cross-country flight training
  • 3 hours night flight training
  • One cross-country flight of more than 100NM total distance
  • 10 takeoffs & landings to full stop
  • 3 hours flight with reference to instruments
  • 3 hours instructional flight for test preparation in 2 calendar months before the practical test
  • 10 hours of solo flight training
  • 3 takeoffs and landings at an airport with operating control tower
  • 5 hours solo cross-country time
  • One solo cross-country flight for 150 NM distance with full-fledged landings at three points
  • One segment of the flight at a straight-line distance of more than 50NM between the takeoff and landing locations

Course duration for Private Pilot License is approximately 120 hour. PPL from APilot provides you with an internationally recognisable license that’s acclaimed by the FAA.
